In order to associate your shipping methods with German Post products and automatically generate corresponding labels, you need to make some initial settings.

Registration with German Post
To create shipping labels for German Post in Pickware, you'll need a Portokasse account with German Post, and you'll need to enter your login credentials in the Pickware Administration. Please note that registering for Portokasse is separate from registering for the German Post Shop, and you'll receive different login credentials. You'll also need Portokasse if you want to use the Internetmarke web service. More information can be found here.
General Settings
You can find the general settings for all shipping extensions under Settings → Extensions → Shipping Labels common. These settings need to be configured once and will then apply to all used shipping service providers.
Sales Channel
Choose whether the following settings should apply to all sales channels or only to a specific one.
Cash on Delivery Payment Methods
This feature is not supported by the German Post Integration.
Sender Address
Enter the sender address here, which will be printed on the shipping labels.
Customs Information for Export
Automatic creation of export documents is currently only supported by the DHL Shipping extension. If you are not using DHL but another shipping service provider, you do not need to fill out the Customs Information for Export section.
German Post Settings
You can find the settings specifically for German Post shipping under Settings → Extensions → Deutsche Post stamps.
Login Portokasse
- Sales Channel – Choose whether the following settings should apply to all sales channels or only to a specific one. The sales channel of the order will be used when generating a shipping label.
- Username & Password – Enter the login credentials for your Portokasse account here.
