A product can have a maximum of one default bin location in each warehouse. Even if the stock for this bin location drops to 0, the assignment is retained. For manual stock movements, the respective default bin location is preselected after the warehouse is selected. In the case of stock increases via Shopware API or CSV import , the product is also stored in its default bin location. If no default bin location has been assigned to the respective product in the default warehouse, storage takes place without bin allocation (unknown bin location).
Default bin locations can be searched for and set via a dropdown in the product details in the Stock tab. A separate section is available for each warehouse. There you can see all the bin locations where the product is located. The default bin location is marked with an star. To change the default bin location, simply select a new bin location via the bin search in the dropdown. The previous bin location will then automatically lose its assignment.
